The book L'agê des migrations1 (The era of migrations), written by Hervé Le Bras - demographer and historian, director of research at L'Institut national d'études démographiques (INED) and at L'École des hautes études en sciences (EHESS) of France–, provides us with an updated timeline on migration processes from prehistoric times to the present, focusing on what happens in Europe, specifically in France.
