El presente artículo tiene como tema de estudio las organizaciones femeninas de Iquique durante el periodo que va desde 1949 hasta 1973. La historia de las mujeres durante este período ha señalado que corresponde a la caída del movimiento de mujeres, después de obtenido el derecho a voto, sin embargo, la presente investigación de muestra, desde una perspectiva local que, si bien los objetivos de las organizaciones femeninas varían persisten numerosas agrupaciones de mujeres que dan vida a la sociedad iquiqueña.Downloads
