El Holocausto y la identidad nacional israelí en el marco del conflicto del Medio Oriente

Nacionalismo y conflictos nacionales se definen, a menudo a través de los juegos de imágenes que integran el imaginario colectivo de cada una de las partes. En el caso del conflicto árabe-israelí y, en particular, su faz palestino-israelí, los imaginarios colectivos juegan un rol central ya que éste es un conflicto que en los últimos años se lleva a cabo en el seno de ambas sociedades civiles a través de actos violentos que se retroalimentan. Por lo tanto, los componentes básicos de cada identidad son centrales. En el caso israelí, el Holocausto juega un rol central y, hasta hoy, influye seriamente sobre las reacciones sociales israelíes frente al conflicto del Medio Oriente. Intentaremos probar esta centralidad y analizar este fenómeno, en términos sociales, políticos e históricos. Para enfrentar la pregunta de investigación que subyace tras el título de este artículo sobre: "El Holocausto y la identidad nacional israelí en el marco delconflicto del Medio Oriente', es necesario definir los conceptos con los cuales sepretende analizar el problema.Downloads
