La globalización del antisemitismo: una mirada retrospectiva y prospectiva

La situación del antisemitismo a escala global es una cuestión de relevancia en el contexto de las Relaciones Internacionales. No son pocos los países, europeos en su mayoría, que aún hoy combaten formas de discriminación hacia naciones o pueblos distintos, tales como inmigrantes africanos o el mismo pueblo judío. El presente trabajo tiene la siguiente estructura: nos avocaremos en primer lugar a revisar someramente la historia del antisemitismo y su modo de existencia más general, el racismo, preguntándonos por las condiciones y contexto de su emergencia; luego, intentaremos desarrollar algunas cuestiones relativas a lo que hemos llamado "el nuevo antisemitismo" para enseguida preguntamos por las condiciones de su posible globalización; después, presentaremos algunas propuestas de integración del "otro" que se pueden desarrollar en un contexto de globalización y que nos pueden llevar a una contención, quizás definitiva, de discursos de tipo antisemita, para, finalmente, terminar con algunas ideas generales a modo de conclusión.Downloads
