Rumania, hoy día, se muestra como un pueblo fuertemente religioso. Religiosidad, obviamente, milenaria que ha acompañado su desarrollo, por siglos. Sin embargo, durante un largo período de su historia contemporánea fue aplastada y vigilada por las diversas formas de comunismo desarrolladas en este país.
